|
Christinity:- Christianity grew out of Judaism and the Christians claim many of the Jewish sacred writings as their own. The christian Bible contains both the Old Testament and the New Testament, while many editions of the Bible also include the books of the Apocrypha. The Christians Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, was a Jew steeped in Jewish tradition and culture. The next step for Jesus and his followers was to break away from the narrow nationalism of the Judaism of the past and to carry the high ethical idealism of the greatest of the prophets to all people, whether Jew or non-Jew. Christianity, growing out of the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, developed into a religious movement in the Roman Empire. Its missionary activities have carried it to all parts of the globe, civilized and un civilized. The Christianity tells us about followings:- Anger. Courage. Deeds. Duty. Evil. Faith. Forgiveness.
